The chassis is just about done. The cage is complete, rear suspension installed, and front sheet metal has been fit. The front sheet metal can be removed as one piece and is held on with Dzus fasteners.
The front clip after being removed. First the bumper is removed. A bar mounted to the bumper slides into the tube and then the pin holds it in place. A reinforcing bar was shaped to fit inside the bumper. The side vents have been removed and replaced with windows. The one on the drivers side will get a NACA vent and be used to feed air to the rear diff oil cooler.
The sheet metal mounts both with the fender on and with it removed.
The doors still open. A neat cover for the locking mechanism was fab'd up at Kenyon.
The 32 gallon fuel cell has be fit, the frame for it can be seen in the picture.
